An second generation athlete carries on his family's tradition

Bushman started riding when he was only four years old, moving on to ice racing as part of the Central Wisconsin Ice Racing Association by the age of nine.

By 2006, Bushman was breaking into the fast tracking scene, turning pro at the age of 19. Some of his biggest accomplishments since that time include being the 2008 State Powerlifting Champion and finishing in the top ten at three nationals in 2009.

The Wisconsin native says his biggest inspiration has been his father, a former flat tracker that introduced him to the sport when he was just a kid.

Says Bushman, "There is no such thing as luck, it's all about preparation and taking advantage of the opportunities given to you."
